More About Me

I'm an editor, writer, and poet who currently works as the managing editor for a Christian publisher. I have editing experience in a wide variety of genres including academic books and journals, poetry, news and culture articles, book reviews and book-related articles, and religious and literary books and publications. Recent editing clients include a variety of individuals as well as Salon.com, William James Studies, and Sparkhouse. I previously edited poetry for WordFarm press and The Cresset.

In my previous life, I wrote blog, newsletter, and social media content for Spire for many industries including mental health, construction and manufacturing, higher education, religion, financial, health care, and nonprofits. I also taught undergraduate English courses for Purdue University Northwest and Valparaiso University, and MFA-level creative writing classes for National University.

My poems appear or are forthcoming in Image, Main Street Rag, Moon City Review, The MacGuffin, Mid-American Review, Rhino, Quiddity, Hobart, The Valparaiso Poetry Review, The Louisville Review, and 32 Poems, among others. My recent book of poetry, Basic Disaster Supplies Kit, was released by Steel Toe Books. My latest book, Questionable Baggage, will be released by Main Street Rag in late 2024.
