More About Me

I'm an editor, writer, and poet, as well as the Curation Lead and Blog Editor for Legible.com. I have editing experience in a wide variety of genres including academic books and journals, poetry, news and culture articles, book reviews and book-related articles, and religious and literary books and publications. Recent editing clients include Ancient Faith Publishing, The Fix, Salon.com, William James Studies (the journal of the William James Society), and Sparkhouse. I previously edited poetry for WordFarm press and The Cresset.

Before I worked for Legible, I wrote blog, newsletter, and social media content for Spire for many industries including mental health, construction and manufacturing, higher education, religion, financial, health care, and nonprofits. I also taught undergraduate English courses for Purdue University Northwest and Valparaiso University, and MFA-level creative writing classes for National University.

My poems appear or are forthcoming in Image, Main Street Rag, Moon City Review, The MacGuffin, The Collagist, Rhino, Quiddity, Hobart, The Valparaiso Poetry Review, The Louisville Review, and 32 Poems, among others. My recent book of poetry, Basic Disaster Supplies Kit, was released by Steel Toe Books.
